A partial solar eclipse will be visible from Wausau.
80% of the Sun will be covered by the Moon!
DETAILS:

2:07pm CDT, Maximum 80.4% coverage
3:19pm CDT, End Contact
DO NOT LOOK DIRECTLY AT THE SUN, EVEN WITH LAYERS OF SUNGLASSES. (more info below)
BE SAFE:
Your eyes are irreplaceable do not trust sun glasses or welders helmet to view. ONLY use ISO 12312-2 compliant filters.
View indirectly (in a super cool way) with a simple household device like a strainer or cheese grader. You'll be amazed how a tiny round hole makes crescent shapes!
Use Eclipse glasses!
Make sure yours are ISO 12312-2 compliant and CE certified that filter out 100% of harmful ultra-violet and infrared rays and 99.999% of intense visible light. Beware the cheap knock offs! Your eyes are too valuable. You should NOT be able to see anything through the glasses except for the very center of a bright flashlight held right up to a lens.
